Lady Marlow is one of the few remaining 25ft day launches from the famous Andrews Boat yard at Bourne End being hull number 370 constructed for the late Jack Cotton of Marlow to special order in 1953. The hull was rebuilt of marine ply in 2007 retaining her original cabin of solid mahogany. She is painted navy blue on the hull with varnished cabin and decks and has been a familar sight on the Henley reach for many years. She is driven by a reliable 1.3 litre petrol Ford Watermota engine subject to regular servicing. She has an open forward cockpit with lloyd loom chairs and seating continues into the cabin area with benches on the port and starboard sides. Aft of the cabin there is another small cockpit for extra seating. Portapotti, full length winter cover and smart new canopy are part of the package. Lady Marlow was the subject of an article in Motor Boats and Yachting in June 1954. Twenty one years ago she sold at the Phillips Auction for £9,500 with white livery. The boat has a current BSS certificate (expiry 09) and EA licence and is for sale afloat.
