Natasha was constructed in 1934 by Brookes of Lowestoft originally as a fast open launch. Shortly afterwards the cabin was added making this into an attractive gentleman's launch with exceptional stained glass windows in the cabin. Ideal for entertaining with a large open cockpit forward she was operated for many years on the Moulsford and Goring reach of the Thames from her base at The Swan at Streatley. More recently she has been sympathetically restored with major work to the hull and also some upgrading to the interior including a new mahogany floor throughout and a new hull lining in the forward cockpit, a custom made mahogany table with folding leaves and a new galley with an Origo spirit two burner stove. Soft furnishings have all been renewed as have covers. The decks were scraped and varnished in 2005. The launch has a full inventory with a current Boat Safety Scheme Certificate which expires in May 2012. The boat is currently available for viewing on her home mooring near Maidenhead.
